  • ANDERSON, IN - Covering Kids & Families (CKF) of Madison County is marking its first anniversary. The coalition launched a year ago during Cover the Uninsured week in March 2009 with the primary goal of reducing the number of uninsured children and families who are eligible for public health coverage, but remain uninsured. Covering Kids and Families of Madison County, with United Way of Madison County the lead agency, is helping community leaders coordinate outreach and marketing efforts by fostering a collaborative environment for community partners to combine efforts to identify and enroll uninsured Madison County residents.

  • ANDERSON, IN - The Anderson University School of Music will be holding its annual faculty dance concert, Spring Into Dance, March 26 and 27, 2010. The performances will take place at Reardon Auditorium on the campus of Anderson University, and are open to the campus community and the general public. The performance on Friday, March 26 will be at 7:30 p.m., and the performance on Saturday, March 27 will be a 2:30 p.m. matinee. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors, Anderson University faculty and students, and children under the age of 10. Tickets may be purchased by calling the School of Music office at (765) 641-4543 or (800) 619-3047.

  • ANDERSON, IN - The City of Anderson is planning a signature rally to be filmed for a video submission to Google. The rally will take place at 11am on Monday, March 15, outside the Paramount Theater in downtown Anderson.   

  • MADISON COUNTY, IN - Nutrition 101, an agricultural company that develops and maintains animal feed markets for liquid by-products generated by food companies, recently announced that it plans to consolidate their Illinois operations to Southern Madison County by building a 12,000 sq. ft. facility on 102 acres of land in Southern Madison County, Indiana. The new facility will be located just off of State Road 67 and County Road 900 South.
