According to the folks at NASA, the earthquake affected the earth's rotation in such a way that we are now losing about 1 millionth of a second per day.

Most of the time, whenever my old buddy Stinky Wilmont and I got into trouble back at Millville Grade School, we ended up down in Principal Baker's office. And most of the time, Mr. Baker would call us in one at a time, probably counting on the intimidation factor to garner an apology from us. It usually worked, and each of us ended up promising that both of us would do better from then on.

What is your value? Undoubtedly when you hear the word value you will immediately think in terms of dollars. Tonight I am here to ask what my true value is.  When I looked up value tonight in the dictionary I found twenty six possible entries. (Yes I actually looked it up) Not one was my picture.  If I was a car I would very little value. I’m used and have recently had some upgraded parts.

Car companies have designed and manufactured a lot of different styles of cars over the years. Some I thought were really sharp. Some I thought were too ugly to drive down the street. Back in my younger days, when I paid more attention to such things, and thought it mattered more, AMC seemed to have the corner on the ugly car market. The Pacer and Gremlin come to mind.
