Ok, I've given this some thought and think I've come up with an idea. Still not sure how to implement it yet, but before I spend the time, I want your input.
Basically, I want the different content to have a different colored background - or header on the top of the page or something...
News = White
Opinion = Light Green
Blogs = Light Blue
Forums = ??
Risque Forums = Light Red
So, when content is created it would either automatically know what color or the poster would have to set it maybe. (Not sure yet...)
When looking at the site, though, the color coding would help people (visually) know if they were entering a part of the site they didn't want to.
I made the TIO, but little profanity and other off color things are continually popping up in most threads. Now, this is ok to some of you, but as I mentioned in the beginning, this site is for all of Anderson (and madison county)...
This is just some thoughts on the direction I want to move in. Your input is welcome.
Oh, and if you want to be a moderator, PM me with 'moderator' as the subject... They will be anonymous and have a little more power than normal users. (Still need to add some stuff for the forums for them to be effective, though...)
