That place is off da chain!  I had stuffed mushrooms and this phenomenal pizza that had tomato vodka sauce, proscuitto and peas.  It was so good!  Oh, and they have this little bread with sundried tomato pesto.  By the time I ate the shrooms a piece of bread with the tomato pesto, I could only eat one piece of the pizza, but I took it with me and had it for dinner that night.  It was fine!

Oh that is awesome!!! Now, kpaul, when are you coming in to check it out? (I'm off today and Sunday, but that's subject to change. I'm the one every one calls first when they need someone to cover their shift because I always work for everyone. This is why I haven't had a day off since New Years Day, because we were closed, and before that, Christmas Day. LOL).

I totally went into my "Here, try this. Eat this!" mode on Sippy. She wasn't all that interested in the bread and sundried tomato pesto, but I made her at least TRY it. I love feeding people. I love making them eat. LOL

How does that work with tofu?

I don't do tofu! I have tried it and I really don't care for it.

You don't slip tofu into the pizza do you?? ;)

Soon as I get a car (soon!) I'll see if I can't make it out that way... I'll let you know in advance.

You could probably make the crust with soy flour, which is almost as good. Maybe better. Tofu by itself doesn't even taste like food. It tastes more like plastic.

I did try some tofu buffalo "chicken" strips a year or so ago when we were in PA last. There was a vegan restaurant and I decided to try those. Honestly, the flavor was good because the tofu sucks up the flavor of whatever you cook it in, but I just couldn't quite get past the fact that it was tofu and it's too freaky textured.

No, kpaul, I swear there's no tofu anywhere in Goodfella's. The guys would never allow it!

Soy flour is just as bad as tofu, IMHO.

Wouldn't know about the soy flour. Never tried it.  I've had tofu dishes at PF Chang's. They're good.
