Oprah's in Town Today

You're Oprah's personal trainer?!? My wife wants tickets to those shows where she gives away all the crap - can you hook her up?? Does this mean you'll be voting for Osama Osama-Bamma? (How many of you playing along at home get the old SNL skit reference to Rosanna Rosanna-Danna??) Perhaps you ARE Rosanna Rosanna-Danna!?! That would explain some of your rants!! Speaking of politically motivated rants . . . Who else is sick to death over the incessant coverage of the stupid Presidential nomination thingie?? Good lord, somebody kill me before some National political pundit actually has an orgasm discussing the results of the upcoming Super Tuesday! Anyway, that's all I got - GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY!

Dang I got a head ache from reading the post from Irish....whatever he is on I need some of it....

She gave a really great speech.  Her trainer talked for half an hour and she talked for half an hour.  Then she met with some politicians behind closed door for almost an hour and I got pics of her leaving and getting into her limo.  Before she got in, she came over to a group of people who were waiting where I was who kind of bum rushed her and talked and shook hands with them for a few minutes.  She shared a lot of personal stuff that has happened in her life that has caused her to be an emotional eater.  In other words, when she feels pain, she finds comfort in food.  She said until you deal with the stuff that causes you to do that, you can diet and exercise as much as you like, but you'll never be able to keep the weight from coming back.  So she said until last year, she really thought she had it licked, but then she got really overworked and her thyroid went nuts and she gained a bunch of weight.  But she still looked great.  Full of energy and really passionate about helping people.  She started in our city because our mayor started a get fit program here last year when Mississippi became the fattest state in the country, so that caught her attention.  I thought that was pretty cool that she started here.  We're by no means the biggest city in Mississippi and she'd have had a much bigger crowd in other places, although there were thousands there today.  So today kicked of their country-wide tour of going to places where they're challenging people to change their lives.  The show will air Monday, January 14th.
