The broke, tired, exhausted man... but still full of hope. ;)
Thanks. Hope to have a link for you guys to test soon.
EDIT TO ADD: And actually, The Computer Dude is 'the man' in this instance for doing all the hard work of getting it up and going, etc.

As warmer weather gets here, things will pick up and it will be a lot busier. That means my nights won't seem so long.
Looking forward to seeing how you get this done.
Good job.

NEW!!! Click Here For Police Scanner!
NOTES: In our tests, it won't open in Firefox (some versions) for some reason. Soo... you can either paste the URL into Windows Media Player or use Internet Exploder Explorer to load it.
Please test and let me know what you think. Should be a five to ten second delay...
Also, Thanks to The Computer Dude at ElwoodIndiana.org for doing a lot (read: all) of the grunt work in this. Thanks, Al!

Heh. Every once in a while some morse code too, I think.
Anyway, will be better perhaps for AFP users once we get this set-up in Anderson...
Want to help make that possible? Donate or take part in CJS' Auction to raise funds for AFP.
What do you think of the idea, medic? We may have talked about it before...

The morse code is the FCC call letters for that dispatch. In the past the dispatcher had to do it every hour. Now it is automatic, some dispatchers still add them.

We're going to be having a limited beta-test this evening.
We have a police scanner online and streaming. If we get it going here in Elwood, we'll start work (as resources permit!!!) on getting something similar for Anderson and MadCo in general.
Please stay tuned if you're interested in helping test this...
