It pays to be different sometimes. Don't know how many, if any are using this operating system that are members here, but there might be others out there with the same combination I have and could run into this problem.
I have a couple of asx files on my computer that I made for my website. Videos that stream. I clicked on one of them, and it worked like it should. And yes, it was streaming from my website and not my computer.

Oh, it's appreciated, believe me.
I might bug ya if we change the set-up so you can test again. I still wonder if it isn't a security setting, though.
I'll see if I can't find a Vista machine around here we can test on...
thanks again, though!

gotcha. i'll PM you if you don't mind if we come up with anything on this end.
okie dokie. If it's tonight, and I don't reply. Assume I'm sleeping. LOL
ok.
also, have you tried opening that URL directly in Windoze media player?
The IP will be changing a bit, which is why we're directing people to the one link on his site for now.
his: <REF HREF = "http://98.222.175.215:88/broadwave.mp3?src=1&kbps=56&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.elwoodindiana.org%2Felwood-police-scanner-live" />
mine: <Ref href = "mms://homeworkersonpc.net/frankton1979/video/20040903%20Kristin%20and%20Simon.wmv" />
Notice anything different here? Aside from the url address and target file?
hmmm. has that referrer in there. i was able to load the URL directly, though.
maybe try taking that ref= out? or did you try clicking on it from the elwoodindiana.org site?
never mind, now the freaking thing is working.
talking about gas cards.
