Speaking of The Shining, I don't know what possessed me to read that book when I was a teenager, but it scared the holy living bajeezus outta me! I hate horror movies and I hate horror novels, but I just had to read it.

I was gonna protest too, but I figured it wouldn't do any good. I guess absence truly does make the heart grow fonder.
