I need to find a job. Does anyone out there know of anyone hiring? I will do almost anything except wait tables....I am no good at that. restaurant work is okay though...I have no problem with that. I just need some ideas of where to go to put in applications. What?? You can't understand what I am saying? I am speaking plain penguin!! |

I noticed Target has a thing on the door for holiday help.. I know it's not permanent but if you go in and prove yourself they may keep you on after the holidays... The other place I noticed recently was the schools have some non certified positions open.. Even though there will be changes, Eastside Elementary needed a secretary. Hope this helps.
Sometimes you feel like a nut!! Sometimes you don't!
I did the Target application online.....thanks

You asked so here is what I came up with on a short notice. I was told that the state of Indiana does not have any posting at this time.
1) Source: http://www.indianacareerconnect.com/ click on the red square Individuals | Find a Career > A City in the State of Indiana > A > Anderson, IN > the blue Search icon. (I assume you were looking around Anderson, Indiana)

I know this was for Zia, but I called and left my info too! :)
HAVE YOU AND CC CHECKED OUT CRAIGS LIST, JOBS
ACS? WHICH ISNT THE SCHOOL I KNOW, IS LOOKING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS???????????????? THEY HAD OTHER JOBS, DONT KNOW IF ANYTHING YOU TWO WOULD BE INTERESTED IN.?
Zia, since you have college courses go to the main bldg of ACS. They are always looking for sub teachers and I think it pays about 100.00 per day. You need to go there and then APD for a background check and then back to ACS and I think you are good to go. You dfo not have to work everyday, just when you want to. Hope tis helps, as I know you can do it.
according to the school website...you have to have at least 60 college credits. I am not there yet.....will be soon though.

I say go talk to them as I am not sure that is always the case.
Zia, call the school and ask about taking the 'Para Pro' test. Indiana allows you to sub after passing this test. Of course each school system has their own decision on that but I know Alex, Madison Grant, Elwood & Frankton only require you to pass this test before you sub. I just took it as a requirement for my job and it isn't too hard. Not sure where you are located but Madison Grant just posted a teacher's aide opening at one of their elementary schools.
