I personally think it was, as Junior's Dad would have told the media leeches, "It was just one of those racin' things."  I chalk it up to just good hard racing. It wasn't pretty and it wasn't well thought out but hey, that's what you get when you run cars at obver 180 MPH in close proximity to each other.

Again, to me personally, Dale and Brian aren't the real story here. It's NA__AR ("SC" ommitted because they don't even come close to resembling the "stock cars" we see on the streets).   Why didn't they penalize Junior when they penalized the hell out of Jason Leffler the day before for a similar action?  The fact that they gave Junior a pass leaves the door open for those who believe that NA__AR enforces the rules one way for the people who sell the most trinkets & trash, and another way for the lesser drivers.

Just my personal thoughts.
