I am dark blue right now. Everyone else is light blue. I must be in trouble.

Have you looked at the profiles of those that are dark blue? I have, and I think that's why. Visited link color.
You're dark blue, I'm dark blue and Colts Fan is dark blue on my list. Menage A Trois?

KP, when you get to where you are making a profit on this whole internet media thing, will you be accepting applications? :D
Yes Indeed. I mentioned that somewhere else, I think. And soon hopefully.
Probably only freelancers at first - using something like this at MFP ... little small tasks either paid per post (event, photo, press release, whatever...) or other little things...
...but eventually as we open our 'public newsrooms' around the area, we'll need trained journalists (and geeks) to help people post pictures, get the story right, etc.
There's a whole plan, it's just hard to implement plans w/no start-up money. Heh. After almost three years things are starting to look up, though.
Hang in there and spread the word.
I'm really going to try to make it down to meet some of you in person next Saturday. Can't promise I can stay long, but I might make an appearance.
We had one 'meet-up' for MFP earlier this year and had about 15 people show up at different times.
Anyways, short answer is yes, eventually.

I'm not a writer, free lancing in that arena is not what I was looking for. Geeking is more my style...though as a professional I'd only be entry level. I'm really wanting to change the direction of my career life. I'll keep watching for when things really look up for you.
Word of advice, start to learn about Drupal. For the moment anyway that's the CMS (content management system) that runs most of my sites. I see myself sticking with it for a while and will eventually need people familiar with it.
So you're more hardware or software? Good at working with people one-on-one in training situations?
