It ranslates to "Beaver". My grandmother, on my mother's side, passed away sometime ago. She was born in the late 1800's. As a small boy I had the chance to live with her. She was actually quite fluent in our language. Long story short; once she passed on, that marked the end of all the relatives on her side of the family. When I came out dancing in later on my mother and aunt (who now are both gone) asked me if I would accept my grandmothers family name to carry it on, I said yes. Her family name is Temakwe which translates to Beaver. She was of the Beaver family of people. At the request of my now deceased female relatives I use that name for my grandmothers' family.
That is an honor to both. If your name means beaver, then temakwe live on my land.

You are not funny and I doubt that anyone is smiling at your 4th grade humor. Try respecting others especially your elders. This man is a million times more spiritual than you will ever be so knock it off.
