At this point, I would like to focus on what we can do to correct the problems, rather than restating them for the 12th time.

As publisher, I'm saying I back up her request on this. Thanks for understanding. If you have a problem with my decision, please start another thread.

Hey guys, the rule is the thread starter can request things stay on topic, etc. It's happened before (Anderson Brent, etc.) so this isn't special treatment. It's not censorship, but wanting to keep this thread going a certain direction. Feel free to start a thread questioning this thread, but keep posts on this thread more on topic. Thanks.

Your friendly "in the trenches" publisher,
K. Paul Mallasch

KPaul, I have to agree with LRA's most recent post.  A question was asked and then expanded upon by the original poster midway through the stream of posts.  She asked whether or not a big university could have an impact on local school performance.  That opened up the scope of thread's topic and LRA posted irrefutable facts related to that secondary question.  That seemed to rankle the original poster who appears to want to spank those who post  responses she doesn't like.

This will probably get me bounced but your bias toward certain posters is becoming more evident.  You tend to fawn over certain posters as is glaringly evidenced by the cute little tags you assign to their forum identities.  If criticism is a 'no-no' on the AFP, cut me loose.  I'll live.

It's about being civil and respectful to thread starters. That's how I'm seeing it anyway. I've been working too many hours, though. ;)

Ok, someone, please save this thread and get it back on topic. all over communication ABOUT it should be elsewhere. Thanks.

Tobi

Do you have the demographic's of which area of Anderson are having the most problems with the ISTEP stuff

I know that the H.H.S. person in charge did not much look forward to the way Anderson was sliced up for school boundaries  He said to me personally that they were getting alot of the bad kids.

Just wanting to know but I think I know where they come from.

Ever have any luck with the pool rental fees and cost on what it takes to maintain when there is no H.S. swim team competing

I am not restating the issues I would like to know if there are demographics of the children having issues.   Maybe the community can set up safe places for these children to go after school for additional assistance.

If I have ever posted something offensive or derogatory I am sorry

Also how did my screen go italics

Tobi

I would really like to know what areas are having the troubles.  I think there are some people who would like to help.  I also know that there are some teachers that would also probably show up at these sites that could be set up.

I hope I am not the poster causing KP to get upset.  I am trying
