The HB is reporting that the Dunkin Donuts on Scatterfield is closing.

That was big success! NOT. I have seen the other one closed early on Sunday and come to think of it it was closed I think yesterday about 8:30 pm

Their prices were a little high, it is cheaper for us to go to Panera in the morning then there.
Gosh with the prices that they charge for a dozen donuts you know that they are proud of them! I went into the one downtown when it first opened and seen the prices. I almost fell over. I walked out and went to Deluxe Donuts and paid about 27 cents less ......per donut ! Big surprise they are closing! It wont be long before the other one closes I don't imagine.

I like Panera but do NOT like those breakfast sandwiches they have. Wish we still had a Hardee's. They have a lot of stuff these days. Did like DD coffee. Noticed cinnamon rolls at Deluxe do not have much cinnamon in them these days.

I thought the one on Scatterfield had closed last Friday. The Jackson St. location has started closing at 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday. I don't see them lasting much longer either.

Went to the Scatterfield location twice, and both times I left very disappointed. Prices were far too high for the stale donuts and marginal coffee they were serving up. This doesn't surprise me at all. . . Wonder if the recruiting offices will expand and take it over, or if we'll end up with just another closed up commercial location. . .?

I hate to hear about any businesses in Anderson closing their doors, even big franchised chain ones.
Maybe they can just leave their sign up and some stuff inside like Ritters and Noble Romans!
They must think Anderson buys its donuts all in the morning. NOT-lots buy in evening and you can get FRESH at Deluxe and Good's in the evenings.
