They are trading jabs more and more these days. I'll put my money on that being the next mayoral race in Anderson.

I think that is a definite possibility. And wonder of wonders there is a paving schedule for 2010 out. What about 2009?

Hard to say who will win. Depends on what happens in the next 2 or so years.
I think Smith hurt himself with how acted after his loss in 2007. Some republicans might not vote at all if he runs.

I think it could be very sad for our city if we ever had a really good qualified candidate, but people refused to sway away from their standard democrat or republican votes, people need to see the broader picture.

I would not vote for him if I lived in the city but, he does have some good ideas. At least we would know he was here and communicating.

He is a nutjob. He got laughed at a few times during the debates. But it would be entertaining for sure if he ran again.
Almost reminds me of 2007 when Smith had the street dept. spray sand and tar on MLK the week before the election.
I doubt that Ockomon would rely on paving a year before the primary takes place.
