What a surprise. Ted Kennedy wants MA to change the rules to QUICKLY replace him when the inevitable happens. Kenndy's simply don't believe that the rules we play by should apply to them. Keep the MA rules as they are until Mary Jo Kopechne weighs in. |

Did you know HE made this rule the way it is now when there was a Republican governor, Mitt Romney and he didn't want Mitt to replace him. Now, he wants to change it to his favor once again.
What rule or rules are we talking about?
Smells like bubble gum to me it does!
Don't kick the dog! You will get bit.
In '04 he lobbied, and got, the rules change that would have allowed Romney (governor AND Repubublican) to appoint a successor IF Kerry won. They need a special election. Now he wants to scrap the election rule and again allow the governor (democrat again) to appoint the next Senator.
I thought what he wanted was that the governor could appoint an interim person to that seat until the special election could be held, which is a five month process, he just does not want his seat to be empty.
He does not want the seat filled by a republican who could change the outcome of the health care process. Go figure.....
Like stars across the sky … . E per avvincere ….. Tu dovrai vincere ...
We were born to shine …All of us here because we believe......
Maybe he really wants to be able to just pick the person?????
He has mentioned his wife. No way around it, he wants to change the rules..................again.
