Unless I miss my guess, that was Stapleton questioning Jim Steele at the LOIT Q & A. Was he gathering info for debate points? He's not an elected individual now, is he?

Stapleton lost bad two years ago, wonder if he can make it. Kinda of a blowhard if you ask me.
It doesn't sound like he'd be a good candidate. I think of the Stapleton I saw at the City Council meetings, and I think of Smith, and I wonder: is that the best the Republicans can do? It's like trying to run Kelly Gaskill against Scott Reske for District 37. C'mon, Reps, get real! Run someone with some expertise and ethics if you want to be taken seriously. Now we have Hupfer running against Reske which makes it a better race. They should do the same with Anderson's mayoral race. Bring in a serious contender who would make the party look competent for a change.
