Well, friends and neighbors there will be a new tax for us citizens. Surprise, surprise! Meeting packed with fireman and all lamenting the horrors if they had to lay off anyone. Mayor quite animated and being the victim-told us to stop complaining and give him a solution. Who the hell elected him and what for-isn't that his JOB. He said there would be big layoffs by him tomorrow if this was not passed. Many said it will ONLY affect those who work for a living and would not deter prospective businesses-Mike Phipps said not so-businesses that are S Corps and other set ups will pay it as will folks on soc sec and getting pension. (Rusty can splain that to you) Firemen say that if layoffs homeowners ins will go up. Roofer Rob was there in all his glory- he makes a lot of sense some of the time.

When it's time to vote again, remember who voted to hike your taxes.
It was a 4-3 vote. As soon as you find out, post the names of the four people who made it possible for the County to take more of your money......Keep those names in mind.

A Pro_Muncie vote, without a doubt. You can't raise revenue by hiking taxes on a population that isn't working. Nice work.
