Madison County Humane Society is having their annual craft show. 11/14 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. saturday 11/15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. sunday. At national Guard Armory, 125 N. Scatterfield. Just north of SR 32.
There are a lot of really nice crafts to buy. They will have the kitchen open and will be selling Chili,Tacos,BBQ and Hot Dogs. Along with the bake sale table. Plus for you all that have dogs there is a lady that makes dog cookies for the shelter to sell. She makes 200 of them and they go really fast. Some people just go to get the doggie cookies. There is nothing in the cookies that dogs should not have so they are safe. |

does this only benifit the Humane Soc? or is ms Stringer going to get to waste some of these procedes
This is for Humane Society only! They get no funds from the city and are really hurting, to the point it is not looking good for them. They only survive on donations and fund raisers. City animal shelter will not get a penny of it plus they get a large budget from the city.
THE HUMANE SOCIETY HAS ALWAYS BEEN JUST DONATIONS...
You are correct. It seems to be harder and harder for them to stay alive. I hope all
pet loverers come to the cause.
Colts fan, I will go to the craft show, maybe before the get together at Jackie's I am sorry about the remark regarding the shelter, I have a very bad taste in my mouth for Ms Stringer she is rude and only out for her own glory, I will be glad to help the Humane Soc. My dog that I have now came from the Anderson Shelter, and she now is 13 years old I have had her since she was 9 months old and We love her very much. I will never adopt from the Anderson Shelter again. I may however consider in the future the Humane Soc.
Got'a enjoy supporting our 4 legged doggy animals here on earth...
I will attend to see if I can buy, then load a few things in the S-10 to bring home.. Also, eat some cake, pie, & cookies.. Mmmmmmm..good..
Wildcat, No problem. I support the Humane Society as they get no city help and only from donations and fund raisers. I do not think most people know that.
We drop newspapers off to the a lot and the kids also donate some time in the summer. They like to help out but they are pretty busy during the school year. During the summer they help when they can. Now that 16 is driving they will help some more.
I all for helping our 4 legged friends, anyone who does this without getting paid to do this really does this from the heart, and the right reasons. I have friends that help support the Humane Soc. in Noblesville they are hurting too. They have a over crowding problem also and are trying to find foster homes for these pets. The sad thing is the people that would normally take them are hurting financially too
Is is 7am or 9am start on Saturday. I thought I read in the paper it starts at 9am.
