Proving that you really can fool some of the people all of the time,  Kevin Smith has taken a job in Frankfort and will be leaving our fair city.

I wonder how this makes all the true believers (former appointees) who have been following him around and doing his bidding feel.

No dice.  Indiana... doing economic development.  I think I'll apply for a consulting job there.

Frankfort has a thriving food industry.  They have Zachary Candy Co. and a Frito-Lay potato processing plant.  Oh, and Hitler's Duesenberg in the basement of the funeral home on the corner of Main and 28.  I'm betting he's got the night security job in the funeral home.  I wonder how he'll make it to his 6:00 a.m. morning talk show on WDUH if he works 11:00 to 7:00?

WDUH! That is a riot. Goodness gracious-there you go. ( if you are a regular listener to the morning show you will get it)

When I was in basic training at Fort Benning, the drill sergeants made us cut a 'notch' the front of the heels of one pair of our combat boots so we couldn't wear one pair all the time just to keep one pair all nice and shiny for inspection.  We alternated every day and God help you if you weren't wearing your 'notches' on notch days.

I'm kind of thinking Kevin must do something like that but with lots of different shoes since he's a Democrat one year, Republican the next, cop one year and economic advisor the next, ad infinitum.  If he was a company, I'd love to read his 'mission statement'.

I hope they have a gob of property available for TIF districts up there.  And a 50 watt radio station.
