Yep,,,, Mounds Rd & Gilmore, then Helms goes east to a dead end. You have woods, then the river to the north. Perfect for little kids to get lost or in trouble with. (River is up again)
Medowbrook School & Forest Hills School problems with kids throwing & shooting BIG fireworks next to the School and Homes.
firetruck just went by my house a barreling at high speed. never seen one go past here that fast before....anyone know what happened in or around 29th street....and Columbus....it was headed from Madison Avenue...east on 29th....

dang!!!!!!!!! glad I stayed home. I had a real nice view of the Speedway's fireworks from my front porch. Sat in my rocker...drank my coffee...and enjoyed the show. Didn't have to fight the crowds either....love it here!! it is my first 4th in this house.
