Here is the type of story HB has withheld that has a major impact on Anderson.

LA Times June 2008,
Shareholders blast pay of GM chief executive”

“According to an Associated Press calculation, GM chairman and chief executive officer Rick Wagoner received compensation valued at $15.7 million for 2007, up 64 percent from the previous year.”
. . . . .

“If the company does not do well, management should take an equal hit, and I don’t think they’ve taken an equal hit,” she said, adding that GM has grown so big that it has lost its humility and its “sense of democracy,” not caring about shareholder concerns.”  (37,000+ jobs lost in Anderson and the quest to eliminate more continues)

Today, top executives don’t care about making a company do well.  Their function is to terminate employees, ship production to foreign sweat shops, reduce quality and safety etc, to balance the books.  Then reward themselves with increased salary, bonues, perks.
