Don't wana cry wolf, but.....

The National Weather Service just issued this watch...

This does NOT include Madison County.

However, this is what is called a "PDS" watch. Particularly Dangerous Situation. They are predicting thunderstorms with 90MPH wind gusts through the highlighted area. These are potentially forming a Derecho (wiki). They are far enough away right now, they could go any direction around or through us. They will make the distance to us by Early morning/Dawn. Keep your ears open tonight!

Thanks.

They are probably going to issue a new watch in the next hour to two hours. We will see then how far south of a track this will take. I haven't had the chance to look at any advanced readings/maps so I have just been watching this based on radar/watches/warnings.

Stand down... for now.

The watch was extended more east than it was south. Might still get clipped, but nothing like they saw in Chicago tonight.

 Stay tuned for tomorrow.

Had on the news for a little bit, said it probably won't hit us too hard, hopefully, fingers crossed!

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

The storm system is moving through now. Delaware and Henry county are under Severe Thunderstorm Warning. NWS is saying the storm over Munice is showing signs of rotation, even though I can't find it on my radar (thats why they have a degree and I don't? ;) ). They had a report of 65mph winds through the automated weather reporting device at the Muncie airport. I don't estimate more than 25mph here on the East side of Madison county the same time the wind echo went through on radar. What a diffrence a few miles can make!

There is a cool lighting show right now though.
