I am sorry but this subject is so over talked about on the HB forum, you might take a look at that site, I would rather this forum not get so politically rundown.
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
I have posted this on the Herald Bulletin. I am a newbie at all of this. It is not my intent to ploitically rundown this form. You are right, there is alot on the Herald Bulletin site. However, I also can't help but wonder if we all stood together against all political parties is there a chance we could make a defference. I may be to green on this subject to know any better. Please forgive me for that. You never know when a community or persons may come together for the common good. You never know who may be in the know and may be willing to express it because they no longer want to carry that burden. Just some thoughts from a newbie.

I really wish it would be as simple as all of us getting together for one common idea, but Anderson is so political I don't think it will ever change, that of course is just my opinion, and I am not politically involved with either party

Quite often it's the nature of the beast, regardless of party affiliation, city, county or state...not to mention, more times that not, it's legal.

I was wondering want the AFP family and visitors to AFP would think of this:
One or our Anderson City Council Persons, had a street paved for a home owner in exchanged to put out his/her political sign for Anderson City Council.
Is this political abuse?

Didn't someone from the city get fired not long ago for paving his sidewalk? Yes, I think it is wrong!

Who,where & where is the proof.That is a lot of work for them to just put up a political sign for a month or two.Because a city council member doesnt have the authority to have a road paved.Also they are not up for election(the city council).
I need to start (soon) monthly interviews with the Street Dept too, I think.
