A.P.D. Catches two who spray painted Greenbriar Church
I know the younger of the two caught, he was raised better than that, I am guessing that he is a follower, not a leader.
I am thankful that they caught the people who think defacing a church is ok. I was taught that you never do anything or say anything in a church or to a church, school, or cemetary.
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
I hope Miss Wickey reads this one. Back last spring she was very upset with this crime.

A few years ago I caught both of these guys breaking into the Greenbriar school. I responded to an alarm and could see them going through teachers desks. I watched them through the window and they had no idea I was watching them. Once they figured out the police was outside, they tried running out another door, but we had them all covered.
I don't know if this is true but I heard that because they confessed to the spray painting they will not be charged with that. All they are going to be charged with is trying to break into cars at the dealership. f that is really true it really sucks.
I would like to know how this officer knew to even ask these 2 about the vandalism at the church. Did one of them live in Greenbriar/ How do you go from looking into cars to talking about churches? What gave the officer the idea to question them about it?

I am pretty sure that one of these guys lives in Greenbriar, or at least his grandparents still do.

Anderson police so far have two men who have confessed to spray painting the words SUCK (and some others) on the side of a Greenbriar Community Church. Both have been charged with vandalism. The church was defaced in April then again in May.
When asked why they did it they said,, "they wanted to get some newspaper and T.V. time"
Lets hope they get that T.V. time,, and get their name & photos on the front page of the local paper.
Almost forgot,, how they got caught,,, A.P.D. found they trying to "pop" car doors at a auto dealership.
