I had just been thinking about Tio's, and of course Chi Chi's, I know it has not been gone very long, but my son would love to have it back!

Anyone remember the JR Toy Store on the SW corner of 23rd and Main ?  Wow , this is a great way to spend New Years day .

close! golden crust. like was said ,best ever. i was born and raised 6 houses west. i used to go down there get donuts put on h/bars of my tri/cycle made them taste even better

Does anyone remember the old Scampy's on Madison just south of Nichol?  No eatting in just walk in order your pizza wait on it and go.

I don't remember Scampys in any other building but the one it is now, but how about Arts on Broadway before it moved to the new building, it was where the battery store is now.

I remember that but what about Guinn's Drug Store on the other corner of Broadway and Vineyard where they also had a soda fountain.  I am sure you are too young for that.

I must be getting really old . I remember an Art's Varsity Pizza on 23rd street west of Columbus . I think there is a Mexican Grocery store there now .

Remember all of the bars in the downtown area ? The Stables , Foxes Surf Lounge (later Dagger Deenie) , etc . If we had them all back downtown Anderson would be thriving again .
