Should be Engine 3, but Smith shut it down.  Engine 7 is closer.  Quicker road travel.

That still baffles me. Take engine 3 out, replace it with a rescue, but the rescue has no response area.

If there is a Medic/Engine call down the street from 3, it is amazing that 6 or 1 has to go instead of the truck right down the road.

I'm just a peon in a world full of chiefs though.

They shut down a Engine and Rescue.  Rescue know responds to any medical call in Engine 3's area and the closes Engine goes.  Rescue also responds alot in the city.  Engine 3's area is split with 8,6,7,1.

Yeah, clarification. I understand rescue has a city wide territory. But, I don't know. The new system just doesn't make sense.

Next admin will need to take a look at areas.  I know they have not been changed except shutting down trucks since I have been on.

About 1/2 to 1 hour before my post time.  I post when we got back to station for it.
