Need info on the Sunnyside Drive call, My kids grandparents live on that street. I saw at least 2 firetrucks and 3 ambulances turning there on my way back from dropping 11 off to catch her bus
Well, they just called Signal 40 (Fire's Out) at 10:30.
Heyyy that reminds me. CC did you call me from over there one day a couple weeks ago? I had a phone number I didn't recognize on my missed calls and reverse white-paged it and it came from that general area. In fact, that sounds like the street, if I remember correctly.

Wasn't me, that's Scott's Dad's street. I have no reason to go over there and be near a phone to call anyone.
I guess my question is IF you get a scanner will you now be able to get the calls of AFD and APD. Few years ago they changed everything and my scanner became worthless. I got rid of it.
Yes, you can listen to AFD/APD (well, I think APD-I don't listen to them). They switched back to the UHF (400) frequencies. That scanner reference site that someone posted a while back will give you all the frequencies you need.
I think that's Maria Sharapova...
Something witty and relevant.

Where is Sunnyside Drive?

East off of Scatterfield, north of 35th Street

Not on duty. Fireguy thanks for the input to the topic. More listeners mean more information on calls. Thanks group.

Hmm...good question. I wasn't sure how ours really worked. I only could pick up a couple of channels. It's probably obsolte now.
