Questions for Mayor Kris Ockomon - Phase One

I would suspect that Clinton coming to Anderson isn't a last minute decision.  I'm sure she's been penciled in to his busy schedule for a little while now.

Posted this on another thread (skateboard park one...) but wanted to place it here too if Jens is watching (and others... ;)

(And speaking of City Hall, I'm Hoping that this week Mayor Ockomon has time for the AFP interview and our schedules don't collide....)

Due to an emergency, the interview set for today has been rescheduled again... I offered to bring in pizza if they stayed late. Heh.

Looks like we're on (again) for tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m.

Yeah... I figured everyone else media wise is going to be down there, so I'm gonna go get some client work done (photo shoot...)

Again, wish I had resources to cover breaking stuff like this, but I'm not there yet.

Anyway... 

What time were you supposed to meet with him? Because at noon, he was at the job fair, not looking like he had to run off anywhere.

No, that's when the news started breaking (maybe it was 1pm...)

We were gonna meet at 3:15. I'm going to get up early tomorrow to do it, though.

What questions should I ask regarding today's events?? 

We could have a good follow-up to all of big media's coverage today in addition to answers to the other questions you as a community asked to be asked... 

I would like to know why he didn't at least look over the other applications that he had for the animal shelter director.  If he had spent more time finding out about these people...he could have chosen a better qualified person for the position.  Russell didn't have any experience at all with animals and the such.  He should have read over the applicants qualifications before he appointed a director.

Good news and bad news... Bad news (and not that really bad) is that we only had about 10 to 15 minutes for the interview. So, I picked a few of the questions. We should have written responses to all of the first batch, though, sometime soon.

The reason was that Pence was in town for an Open House at... and the name escapes me presently... An assisted living place in a renovated school.

Anyway, Ockomon invited me down to that, so I tagged along.
