Zia. I made a trip to City Hall today, but the Mayor and Chief of Police were busy with Channel 6 in a 'meeting' of some sort. I still haven't heard from them. Might stop back over there tomorrow to chase the information out of them.
I hate to say it, but chasing stuff like that is out of my league at the moment. With only so many resources, I'm trying to pick and choose things I cover - things that will generate a lot of interest, will get a group of people talking about the site, and things that will be evergreen (that is, stick around in an archive for a very long time...)
Anyway, I haven't read the rest of this thread yet, but I did half heartedly attempt to get some information out of Elwood City Hall today (everyone but the fire department almost...) Channel 6 got the story, though. (They had an $xxx,xxx Satellite truck in town... so maybe it was a live feed?)
In any case, being hyperlocal as we are, you'd think ... well, that's another story for another day perhaps.

yeah Paul....I heard more about it on the news and read it in the paper. A sad situation ....especially for the 4 year old that was in the house and seen it all happen. Thank Goodness...the guy never hurt that poor baby.
