How many points did I get for being an eye witness and an almost victim to an accident the other day? hmmmm?????
Well, let's see now. You usually are very quick to help out those of us that run into computer or software challenges. . . And are quick to help anyone. . .
I figure we can at least pony up a lil' something for all that you have done and continue to do for us.
;) I was just playing around. I don't care all that much about the points. Capt Jack really does a good job of informing us of common sense responsibilities. :)
Sounds like a sad one,,, truma team has been called out (A.P.D. chaplains,, & other mental health workers,,, to work with police & fire officers) Officers that have worked a bad fire or accident.
4 year old girl,,,, severe burns.
A.P.D. asking for a camera to take photos of girl
The "Trauma Team" is called out any time there's an injury to a child that is either serious or potentially suspicious (as in abuse). It's simply a multi-disciplinary 'notification' system to notify various agencies of the circumstances of certain types of cases involving children.

I hung out with police officers for many years when I was younger, as well as babysitting for several of their children, but I never learned that, thanks for that information, it will help me when I am listening to my scanner.
Here's a quote from Ronald Reagan: "If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."

It's a relatively new concept. Kind of a "10 heads are better than 1" type of thing. The more agencies involved in a situation, even if it turns out to be completely innocent, the less likely abuse or neglect will slip through the cracks.
