I have never heard of a poetry place in Anderson but i got me a question
What did this mean "Neocons screwed my 401K" just curious

I'd say for night life everyone needs to hit the casino, that would get them out on the town and help the casino too

I know when I went (when the casino opened) they took my mailing address and for a while they sent coupons. If they still do that, there's not much to lose. And it is fun to go and people watch. Also, I have heard they have a good food.
I tried the casino once. It was way to loud and way to much smoke. I was ill and ready to leave within minutes of arriving.
As for poetry places, I don't know of any left in Anderson but the Lighthouse Cafe in Alexandria is nice.
For us we do popcorn and a movie at home, play at the park, go for a walk or get ice cream from one of the several great ice cream places around town.
I enjoy my hubby and kiddos...they make me laugh.

Last night some friends offered us to go to the Anderson Speedway for I think what was called "Night of Thrills?", anyway, it was a lot of fun. The crowd was good and the driving was even better. I have been several times but this time they had trailers attached to their cars, trucks, or vans. On the trailer was different stuff (such as a stove, a barbie jeep, even a pop up camper). They raced until they lost their trailer. It was the craziest thing we had ever seen. We took someone who was here from out of town and they LOVED it!! So maybe you could try that
