http://www.bnonews.com/news/406.html TAMPA, Florida (BNO NEWS) -- Television pitchman Billy Mays — who built his fame by appearing on commercials and infomercials promoting household products and gadgets -- was unexpectedly found dead inside his Tampa, Florida residence on Sunday morning, police officials told BNO News. He was 50-years-old.
Much more sad than MJ's passing I think. Giggity |

yeah his show "Pitchmen" was pretty interesting...
USAir's attorneys are on 'full alert'. He was on the plane that blew its front tires upon landing at TPA after which took the runway out of service for several hours due to debris. He was interviewed after the flight and said the landing was so rough that stuff in the overheads came down and hit him on the head. $$$$$$$

What the heck is going on these days? People seem to be keeling over like flies!
Maybe it was a sleep apnea problem with Billy, rather than a subcranial hematoma.

No one should let any head injury go, especially if they feel "sick" afterwards. I've been with people who have had serious concusions and they said they thought they were going to be sick, maybe all head injuries should be checked out. RIP Billy Mays, we'll miss the Oxiclean commericals.
I heard on the radio the autopsy revealed that it was heart disease...they also said he knew he had this condition. My thoughts and preyers are with all the people who have lost someone this week
TAMPA, Florida (CNN) -- TV pitchman Billy Mays' death appeared to be from heart disease, not a bump to the head, according to the Hillsborough County medical examiner.
OxiClean pitchman Billy Mays apparently died from heart disease, according to the medical examiner.
The final cause of death will not be known until after toxicology results are available, Dr. Vernard Adams said at a Monday news conference.
Mays, 50, was pronounced dead at his home near Tampa Sunday morning, after his wife Deborah found him unresponsive, Tampa police said.
The autopsy conducted Monday morning revealed Mays suffered from hypertensive heart disease, Adams said.
