Hey just heard through the vine, building materials is rising again. Shingles seem to be going up about once a week in price. I know everything else is also, but geez...................

There is a place in Indianapolis that has shingles 23.97 a square, not a bundle. It takes three bundles per square. We bought some and they are just like the stores here has. For the price it was very much worth the drive. Until someone says I can place their name on here just PM me and I will tell you the web address. They also have doors, windows at good prices............ Good deals.

It would be okay to drop a link in this case. If you're an affiliate, though, let us know. ;)

None on these. They are Owens Corning dimensional shingles. They are where they have switched colors in the machines. However, there is nothing wrong with them.  We used them on half our house and cant tell the difference.

The shingles we bought from the local home store does not have a warranty, due to we did not call the company. So in other words if you or the people putting shingles on your house dont register them, they dont have a warranty anyway.

These shingles inIndianapolis you cant even call and get a warranty. But an example shingles todeay locally was 68.00 a square compared to 23.97 a square. For basically the same.?

"Herpes zoster (or simply zoster), commonly known as shingles, is a viral disease characterised by a painful skin rash with blisters in a limited area on one side of the body, often in a stripe. The initial infection with varicella zoster virus (VZV) causes the acute (short-lived) illness chickenpox, and generally occurs in children and young people. Once an episode of chickenpox has resolved, the virus is not eliminated from the body but can go on to cause shingles—an illness with very different symptoms—often many years after the initial infection."

Back when I was young, mothers took their children to others houses when they were less than school age so they would have already had chicken pox, mumps, measles etc. There weren't vaccinations back then. Therefore, I am suscepitable to shingles. I am going to get the latest shot for it at my next checkup. This thing I do not want!

My mom was told that she was too young to get the vaccine, less than a week later she got shingles, then last week on the news they interviewed a doctor that said that anyone that has or has not had shingles needed to be vaccinated, including those younger than they originally said. If my mom would have known that she would have gotten that shot and hopefully not shingles, she and my grandma both say they are horrible.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
