Information wanted on missing relatives of the following family names....
I thought court documents were public record, not sure how long they keep them on file, call the court and ask. I know a couple attorney's post on here, maybe one of them will see it and at least comment on that much. Was the adoption open or closed? Are the McCurdy's related to the doctors here in town?
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

They are public record....BUT I now live out of state.....that's why I went this route to see if someone would be willing?! I know many attorneys there in Anderson as my husband and I had a very well known business there. It was a private adoption....."she" went to NY to have me and immediately returned after my birth, and once again hooked up with this "Jackson". The McCurdys you mentioned are indeed related......they are relatives of "her" deceased husbands. Thank you for replying. Take Care
Neal(Baby Girl--6/61), Southers, Brant, Sheets, Jackson, McCurdy. If anyone can assist me in looking up information at the courthouse, please let me know. There is some information there that I could use concerning who I am looking for(James Jackson). This particular Jackson and Richard Neal had to go to court for charges pending over a domestic(possibly battery) issue in the late 1950's early 1960's. Within these documents the address, etc...of James Jackson would be listed -- this would help me tremondously in locating my bio-logical father. I know many of you will know these names.....I am the only one out of "her" five that she placed for adoption!( Makes you wonder...and I was the middle one!!...) I am NOT a child--in fact I will be a grandmother for the first time very shortly. Please find it in your hearts to help me, and to help stop the continuous lies "she" has told. I would love to have a photo of him, and possibly a conversation with him--just to tell him "hi" and he has 3 grandaughters, I am ok -- and....I am sure all of you understand!
