In 2008, daylight time begins on March 9 and ends on November 2. In 2007 daylight time began in the United States on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November. On the second Sunday in March, clocks are set ahead one hour at 2:00 am local standard time, which becomes 3:00 am local daylight time. On the first Sunday in November, clocks are set back one hour at 2:00 am local daylight time, which becomes 1:00 am local standard time. These dates were established by the Energy Policy Act of 2005, Pub. L. no. 109-58, 119 Stat 594 (2005). |

I am so glad that my cell phone changes automatically as does the cable box, then I just reset the rest of the clocks from them.

I'll be glad to get back to normal. Getting up and going to bed an hour earlier is wearing me out. My poor old body is more in tune with sun rise and sun set than the clock anyway, but my work hours use the clock.
4-4-2, the perfect 10!
Daylight savings. That means the kids catch the bus in the dark all school year doesn't it?
Smells like bubble gum to me it does!
Don't kick the dog! You will get bit.
Not exactly. After we change it will be lighter for them for a few weeks. Then in the spring after we change it is darker in the morning, but it quickly equals out.
Note: I am pretty sure that what I said is correct, but it is possible that I am thinking backwards. Either way, I don't like daylight saving time and wish it would go away.
PresidentJust a member of ACSC Board of TrusteesHmmm....It's kinda dark until 7:30am, or it seems that way in my bedroom. So if we fall back an hour, when it was 7:30 and gaining light, it will then be 6:30 and gaining light. But that won't last too long. I was complaining 2 years ago about my kids catching the bus at 6:45 am on a street corner, and it being dark out. That was before daylights savings time.
I refuse to make any more edits, because I lose the points I just gained by making a post when I do. I meant 'daylight' without an s.
I learned in elementary school that time is constant. My personal thought is why waste time changing time. I have aobut 20 clocks between my house, work and my mother's house and to me it is such a waste of time and hassle to make all these changes. I say keep things simple, Mitch. The state is still not on the same time zone.
Don't forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors this weekend. It goes along with resetting your clocks.
Thanks for the reminder..

It is 9:17 am and the time stamp on the post of AFP is 10:17 am. Has anyone else notice this?
