I say write letter/email/call your local representatives about the DSL issue. They make the rules and I think you should let them know how you feel.
In 2008, daylight time begins on March 9 and ends on November 2.
In 2007 daylight time began in the United States on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November. On the second Sunday in March, clocks are set ahead one hour at 2:00 am local standard time, which becomes 3:00 am local daylight time. On the first Sunday in November, clocks are set back one hour at 2:00 am local daylight time, which becomes 1:00 am local standard time. These dates were established by the Energy Policy Act of 2005, Pub. L. no. 109-58, 119 Stat 594 (2005).

I don't have an issue with my DSL, if I do, I will call Uverse, I won't bother Mr. Reske or Mr. Lanane with that.
HOWEVER, if I have an issue with the DST, I will do that.
Honestly, as much as I hate the whole thing, I will be happy that it will not be as dark when the kiddos are getting on the bus. A car decided not to stop for the flashing stop arm this morning as my daughter was boarding. Thank God the car was on the other side of the bus and sis saw what was going on and stopped in the driveway before anything horrible happened.
