Looks like they are building a new childrens museum, that would be good for your child (sorry can't remember if you have a son or daughter, or the age, I was just thinking younger)
Here's a quote from Ronald Reagan: "If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."
I live near there, and we go there for shoping and everything else. It's not a bad town, there are bad sections and good sections, but that is typical of cities of that size. There are two large high schools serving Terre Haute, and they are pretty decent. It is a college town, with ISU and Rose Hulman in Terre Haute, and St Mary's across the river in West Terre Haute. West Terre Haute is a somewhat different story, but it is getting better. Anywhere in the county outside of the city is a good place to live. If you are going for inside the city limits, I would not recommend West Terre Haute. Too deliverance like, even for me, but coming from the south, you might feel more at home. Your mileage may vary!
Indianapolis is an hour+ away, so it's close enough to go there for anything else you could want or need. That makes Terre Haute/Vigo county a good place to live.
If we were not planning on moving east of Indy, I would more than likely move to Vigo County.
If you need more specifics, PM me and we can go into detail better.
yeah...but then she would have to leave the night stands....
“Sure, the lion is king of the jungle but airdrop him into Antarctica, & he's just a penguin's bitch”
Not if they're like the ones in Anderson!

Thanks for the insight, Mr442! That's the kind of insider info. I was looking for. What the Chamber won't tell you.
