Anyone else out there that uses Linux? I use Ubuntu and I love it .If anyone would like to try linux I would recommend trying "Linux Mint" which is a port of ubuntu.You can burn Both Ubuntu and Mint to a cd and run the operating system from the cd and boot the operating system up without messing up your windows installation.You might have to set your bios to boot from cd and that is the most difficult part of it.You can burn the cd image you download using a free program called img burn.I just wanted to start a topic where people can get started in linux if they want . Microsoft gives you windows,Linux Gives you the whole house

Cool Thanks Bard.I am by far a linux guru,but I do know a little and I am willing to learn a lot more.If you decide you wanna try linux there is several ways you can do it on your computer without messing anything up.The only reason I started using linux was cause it performed better than windoz on my ancient computer 733 mhz processor, 512 pc 2100 sdram.My computer runs good enough I do not feel so bad about having such a old computer lol.
