000webhost.com and webs.com both offer free web site hosting. webs.com has a easy setup sight membership.I believe newlsetters and mass emails can be done from it(I am my sites only member, haven't went in to self pitty enough to send myself a newsletter yet lol..Both of the forementioned website has a "generator" or a east to use template system. Here is a excellent site if you are interested in learning to write the code yourself   http:html.net

Thank you for that information.  I have been asked by my employer to look into building a simple website.  I mentioned CC and her great knowledge and skills, but I was told that they would rather use me (this means, we are already paying you....go ahead and do it).  Well, I have done a bit of research and realized that I am very close to over my head.  Currently waiting for "someone" to bring me some software or something that they were working on for a website for them many moons ago...now I may just talk to them and progress on my own without that "stuff".
