I had originally posted this in the classifieds, however, there have been many reads, but no responses. So, I wanted to bring it out to the forumns to see if any of you might have any suggestions or leads. I figured more people regularly read the forumns then the classifieds.

Here is the classified post:

I am in need of relatively clean fill dirt. (i.e. - no large rocks, debris, etc. Some smaller rocks ok) I have a way to transport it, but would need it loaded at source. Prefer to stay in the north part of Anderson to Alexandria area. However, if you know of any, please let me know and I can decide at that time if the location is do-able. Thank you.

I think you may have a way to get what you desire.  Call any landscaper in your area.  They usually have to pay to dump their good dirt.  I have a brother in law that is currently do this and there is a bunch of big piles of tjis special dirt.

Just tell them where to dump it and they will.

I hope that you have a great day today and I that your tomorrow is even better than you can imagine..

I second what Rusty says; also stop and inquire if you see a construction site starting up. Man hours and fuel costs are significant costs to contractors. If they can save on both by delivering to you or loading your truck, they'll often jump at the chance. HTH.

Good job! That was my immediate thought on this thread but thought some would think I am crazier than I am!

All you would have to do is a Habenero or two or three or four.
