It also means that they were in place before Kevin took office.  They are also eligible for retirement, which means that in order for you to "save Anderson" they should be forced to retire.  That's what you outside the box thinkers are proposing.

Benny there are many of us that do care what happens to our city. I have not seen you post anything that would help the city, the only thing you seen capable of doing is complaining or make snide comments about those of us who make recomendations.  You seem to know so much about Anderson, what % of our high school grads from Anderson go on to college? Why is the Anderson school rated so poorly in comparison to York Town, Pendleton, Lapel, and some of the other communities. The officials ignore the problems for our schools, they ignore the problems in depts and spending.  Maybe the Mayor should have a forum with people from the city and county. Maybe someone should post what is being done to help the city.

Wildcat,

Ignore Benny from here on out all he does is suck up to the Democrats and Oky.

He never says anything to support them except to bash the previous administation.

Benny why do not you address the issues and get your head out of where you have it so firmly placed.

My PM's tell me I am not the only one that believes this

I hope that you have a great day today and I that your tomorrow is even better than you can imagine..

Wildcat, the Mayor has nothing to do with education in Anderson, and education in Anderson has nothing to do with the Mayor.

I'm not saying this is right, I'm not saying that a few people haven't made efforts recently to change that (the Mayor and myself included) I'm just saying that is the way it is.

Wonder how many mayors of Anderson have had a college education? Know that Lawler and KO do not.  Not that college is the end all for everyone-I know that it is not, but, the simple fact of being in college and getting a degree shows something of the character of a person.

Don't read too much into that diploma, Foodie. Take me, for example. I have a college degree and completed a skilled-trades apprenticeship to boot, and I think I'd make a terrible mayor! I could be a terrific dictator or emperor, though, should one be needed.

Sometimes a mayor needs to be a dictator or emperor rather than being a bozo. My point, as you must know, is that you have had the discipline to follow through to get the education that is necessary to do the job.

I do not think the mayor is a bozo, He is to passive, and he allows others to make his decisions for him. In these tuff times he was elected the mayor and he should be the one leading the city. He should cut some of his higher paid staff and run the city. This will save the city money
