I don't deal well with stress. But I look forward to hearing some ideas about how to deal with it. Exercise is supposed to be good to reduce stress.
Stress!!

I am hoping to get some responses.. I like listening to music. depending on my moods.. country can make me sad, Jazz relaxes me.. Josh Groban now he is just ahhhhh... My kids tell me they can tell my stress leval by the level of sound..lol When i get angry it gets loud...

I've noticed that when I'm stressed I tend to snap on my son, and anyone else for that matter. I just get in a foul-assed mood, which isn't like me normally.

My daughter has me walking 3 miles a day . I have noticed it is helping. Baby steps... Talking and joking with you guys on here is good .

Humor,, That is why you hear people laugh at funeral homes, weddings, doctors offices, etc.
Mother Nature gave us something "we call" nervous laughter When we laugh the stress level drops.
" I remember when aunt Martha backed over the stuffed dog toy in the drive way,,, she thought she ran over the cat. Her face turned white as snow. "ha,, ha,, ha," we still laugh about that day,,,, boy we are going to miss her"
Example of funeral home laughter. That small laugh drops the stress level and helps us deal with the trauma we have to face.

Exercise is a great, Laughter is right up there with exercise and Meditation can do wonders. If you've tried all of those, you might consider becoming a crane operator!

One of my bosses used to swear by seratonin and a good nights sleep? I dont know if the spelling is correct, but I do know you can buy it over the counter. I know sleep is a big factor, you have to clear your brain and relax your body or you will just be uptight when you awake?





Stress seams to cause so many problems for people.Stress is one of the many ways the body responds to the environment. Many illnesses are brought on by stress, Migraine headaches, Muscle tension, Heart attack, high blood pressure. Heck writing this and reading about stress can raise your levels..
So my Question is how do you deal with it? Maybe some of the people on the forum have found ways that can help others to relieve STRESS... Don't be shy pass along the things you have found to help. And please try and keep this clean..:-).. wait cleaning house helps me...
