So I am doing some research and am looking for people’s experiences with Fibromyalgia. I am looking for personal experiences as well as the families and friends that this affects.  So let’s get started…..

Please feel free to PM me if you don't want your stories public.

What is the difference between fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and myofascial pain syndrome? Then, there is also lupus, lymes disease and others with simularities.

Is arthritis a outcome of these syndromes are is it the outcome?

In particular, I'm concerned about correct diagnosis, what procedures are used to determine this and finally, so what? to bad? there ain't anything that can be done about it and no body believes you anyways.

Vic, CFS, MPS and fibro are very simular.  These dx are basically from exclusions.  Lymes Disease and Lupus are different and I believe that there are specific tests for these dx.

Arthritis is not an outcome of fibro specifically.  Arthritis is often preventable, but I won't go off on that tangent here.

From what I have seen in my experiences, a person who is dx with fibro will typically have had a tramuatic accident in their past (auto or otherwise) with their symptoms starting fairly soon afterward.  It is funny, when a new patient calls on the phone, after getting just a bit of their history I can usually guess that they are going to tell me that they have been told that they have fibro.

I have also seen incredible improvement with suppliments and dietary changes.  Often the worst symptoms of fibro (and CFS as well) are worsened by a buildup of toxins in the muscle tissue. (I can get more info on this as well)

OK, unless I am asked, I will stop with the natural now, unless somone wants to talk about vaccines........looks around and ducks
