I always keep one of those little molded plastic bear "honey dispensers" on hand, we dont normally dont use a lot of honey though, usually we only use it when we have hot tea.

When I was very young i would go to my Great Grandfathers home to stay a few days, he was a widower at the age a 23 with two young sons, never remarried. Raised the boys on his own and farmed 50 of 65 acres of land with horses. He did use a tractor by the time I had came along. Well when I would stay he would go to the hives and get fresh comb honey to put on our toast in the mornings, along with farm eggs from his chickens. I have loved Raw honey from then, fresh farm eggs, with some whole hog sausage from his pigs.. along with toast he made right on the stove..  Great breakfast. Once you get a taste of the true country farm foods it's hard to go back to all the processed items the grocery offers to consumers now.

I have been told it is used in the burn unit at Wishard, they make soap out of it or something like that, but anyway, it is pure and can be used to heal burn victims.

We also have the honey straws, some with raw honey, and many flavored varieties too. They are fantastic to talk to put on toast, muffins or bagels at a breakfast shop.

Great in hot tea, when you feel ill with a cold, brew tea, add 2 teaspoons raw honey, one slice lemon squeezed, one small shake cayenne pepper, and a clove of garlic cut in half. let seep ... drink 3 times a day..

Spread the combed honey directly on your morning toast, muffins, or bagels.. the bee wax has no ill effects on you.. we use to chew it almost like gum till all the honey flavor was removed, saved the wax till we had a bit.. and made home candles.
