What steps do you take to fight off the Flu..?

Do you try and rely on a Vaccine Virus to be injected into

your body with no guarantee the it will prevent the flu?

Or do you try to eat healthy and use Homeopathic herbs to

help with the bodies Natural immune system?

What do you think the pros versus cons truly are?

We use the below stated in the article:  Along with a few others..

Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Elderberry, Acidophilus culture, Garlic, Echinacea & Ginseng..

All are taken by capsule or in a tea..  Many age Ole' remedies, are laid by the wayside with most individuals depending on man made drugs to try and fight illnesses with over the counter forms..

No flu shots. Had 2x in the long ago past and got very sick. Try to eat fairly well and get adequate rest and dress appropriately for the weather.

No flu shots here either. Vitamin C and D plus try to eat better with plenty of water. Also wash hands more often and dress comfortable to stay away from drafts.

On a serious note.. my Grandmother got the flu shot some years ago, (God Rest her Soul) and had a terrible bout with being sick, she said never again in my living days will I ever do that... "It Almost killed me"

No, Mr. Smart A$$, not the BBQ. Seriously, when I think I am getting a cold I get HB with onion at Wendy's. Probably all in my small mind but seems to work. Read somewhere about value of onion in relation to colds.

Raw Onions have high antibacterial & anti-viral powers, along with Garlic if you can stand it.. We love garlic.. I sometimes eat a clove in the morning & one at night when I'm fighting a cold..

If you have achy muscles from a bout of the flu..

Mix 1 Tablespoon of horseradish in cup of olive oil. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, then apply it as a massage oil, for a instant relief of aching muscles.

Disclaimer:

Test a small area of your skin first to she if you will have any reaction to this before rubbing it all over yourself..
