Through this site, the Partnership for Prescription Assistance offers a single point of access to more than 475 public and private patient assistance programs, including more than 180 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies. To access the Partnership for Prescription Assistance by phone, you can call toll-free, 1-888-4PPA-NOW        (1-888-477-2669).

I think I did that last week. I got a discount prescription card in the mail 2 days ago.  I can't use it though.  It can't be used by anyone that has ANY kind of government assistance with medical.

I think it's only if you're receiving Rx assistance. Try the different pharma companies, they all have different programs for meds, many free.

I am receiving Medicaid, at the moment. The letter that came with my card said that if I was receiving any government assistance that was medical, that I was ineligible to use the card. It's called "Together Rx Access, LLC"

"Oh, here is the wording: Savings under the Program do not apply to prescription products reimbursed under any federal or state program, including Medicare or Medicaid (Government Program), or any private insurance, HMO, Medigap, employer, or other third-party arrangement (Private Insurance). By signing the enrollment form, I certify that I am not, nor are any of my family members listed on this application, elgible for Medicare, and I do not have prescription drug coverage through any Government Program or Private Insurance, nor do any of my family members listed on my application."

Now the form that I filled out to get the card, did NOT say any of that. I had to get the card first. :(

Find out who makes the drugs you need and google patient assistance program. There should be several different Pharma Co's that have their own plans which might have different requirments. :)
