Well, we are currently out of good burning wood. Just wondering if anyone here knows where one could get a rick or so of good wood for my fireplace. Thanks for your help.

Closed/abandoned schools could make for good firewood.
Call Keith Roberts at 378-7183
"You durn kids get outta my yard!"
we have used the same guy for almost 2 years now....I will ask hubby for the name and get back with ya.

There's a house on Madison near Tommy J's...
Also, saw a wooded area on 28 heading into tipton that was selling it...
As to quality, I'm not sure.
Dan Davis on the south side of Anderson sells good burning wood. He supplies Crackerbarell at least last time I knew he was. He is in the book. He lives on south main street past the overpass.
hubby said it was Roosevelt Carter.....Carter's Tree Service...642-5697

CARTER USED TO BRING IT TO 84 HOUSE THEY ARE GOOD GUYS .
he is a good guy. If we are not home when he gets here...he drops off the wood and comes back later for his money. Knows we are good for it, I guess.....very nice man.

CARTERS CUT DOWN THE BIG TREE OUT BACK...WE DIDN'T WANT IT TO FALL OVER ON THE OLD MAN'S HOUSE. THE BOYS WORK HARD AND GET THE JOB DONE. I KEPT THEM IN POP AND ICE IT WAS SO HOT THAT DAY...OLD MAN CARTER WAS A GOOD MAN
