I know for fact that their is more than one person, even on this forum this is happening to. Advice is being sought. It seems the city has went around and taken pictures of properties around town. I understand the need to keep your yard in an orderly manner. I also understand it is winter. I have seen houses in distress for years, yes years! And now letters come out to go to court? What about these houses leaning, structurely unsound. These houses that has large holes in the roof? Elderly people living there. And the neighborhood rumor had it they was supposed to be out by Thanksgiving. Well, they are stil there. The letter states to be at court for an informal hearing with the city inspector and city attorney. It also states you will have to sign some kind of letter. What happens if you dont sign said letter, but clean up everything they say. Wonder with these economic times, high stress levels, if the city is hoping people will just say heck with it and leave one more empty house in this county. We have several other counties around us. And no we arent slobs, as well as another on here. We was saving lumber, they call that what recycling, and was going to build a 30 X 40 garage out back. But guess what?

They are making you get rid of your lumber? You should see what I live next door to...It should be condemned...

They are on a few people. My neighbor has a nice house, and they are complaining of fire wood in the back yard. It is very ridiculous. I dont see anything wrong with it. I dont know how all this comes about, but I guess I may never understand. But its the law they say.
But what if you heat your home with fire wood ? what is the problem do they want it stack a certain way. I mean the trash and non running junk cars are terrible around here....

You are saving wood to build a30x40 thats big.We did a36 by26 when the wood and stuff came the pile was huge. I take it you have a big big back yard.you do know the. Biger they are the faster we seem to fill them up.my son loves his garage.enjoy
We do have a big back yard. acre. And as I told them today, I was not going to build that garage, and that I may even till all the grass under. Then I ask them about the flooding problems, he advised best to sell it, he had that same problem and he sold his.
One person was there who a tree had fell down in there front yard. Hello, it is winter. So everyone hope that nothing happens in the mid of winter. Unless you like the cold or can afford to hire the cleanup.
I wish I could find someone who wanted to cut some trees down for the wood for free...I have several that need to go but wow is it expensive. I pray they keep standing a little longer..
