Ok, here's the deal. She's getting one of those coupon stuffed things that come out on Thursday's thrown into her driveway. She's older and has back problems and it's a pain for her to go out and pick up the trash being thrown on her property.

So... after hunting down the number today (The Herald Bulletin is listed under business not 'newspaper'...) she called and told them she doesn't want it anymore.

We'll see next Thursday.

For the advertisers advertising in this "publication" let it be known that grandma sees them in the yards of other elderly people in the neighborhood as well. So... they might not be getting to as many people as you think.

Let this be testament to the fact that grandma called and asked for the HB to not litter her property anymore.

Anyone else get this without wanting it?

Kpaul, Have grandma call 622-1212 and listen for the number for circulation and punch that in then ask for Loree (sp) and do the same thing I did.

I told them I was saving them and when I got 4 33gal trash bags full I was bringing them up and dumping 2 bags each in front of each door.  She claims she made sure I would not get any more of the trash.

They do not have to know Grandma has a hard time picking them up.

So far I have not gotten any more but if I do I am going to put a trash bag in the garage and start saving them and then you can have your you tube. :)

It happens here too KP. I just called and told them I didn't want their paper and to stop throwing it in my driveway or next time I'd wait for them and throw it in their window. Haven't seen one in about 6 months. However now I'll probably get one! *Sighs*

Several years ago when I lived on 9th St, I was out on the porch when this idiot threw that peice of junk in my yard and I went out and threw it back on the top of his van.  He threw it back and needless to say I went nuts. Called the office of fish wrap and got stupid and did not have anymore of them after that.

Since you seem to be a burden on your family, and have chosen your \"grandma\" as your date for the breakfast meetup, perhaps you could find it in yourself to repay her for the upcoming date by picking it up yourself. It seems the least that you could do.

Not really funny because if I thought I could have kicked his butt I might have tried. I have a big trash bag hanging in the garage waiting to start putting their throwaway junk in, if they start throwing them again. When it is full goes in front of their door and dumped.

If you know where their door is, you must know where they live.  I think they're in trouble.

I'm pretty sure she is talking about the HB offices.

What kind of sense are you trying to make here? Is there somewhere that it's been stated that kpaul is a burden on his family? Are you trying to start something here?

Where in the heck did this Diogenes come from or maybe it is Zdebz in another dress again.  Whoever it is I don't think we need this type as part of our posting family.
